General Resistance, LLC ("General Resistance," "we," "us") is an embedded, wireless, and IoT engineering firm. This policy covers generalresistance.com — who we are, what we collect through this site, and how we use it.

Information we collect

The only information we collect through this site is what you give us directly. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (optional), the engagement type you select, and the message you write.

We don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or non-essential cookies on this site.

Like most sites, our host (Cloudflare) logs standard technical request details — IP address, browser, timestamps — for security and reliability. We don't use those logs to profile visitors or for marketing.

How we use it

We use contact-form submissions to respond to your inquiry and, if we start working together, to communicate about the engagement. We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties, and we don't use it for marketing unrelated to your inquiry.

Retention and your choices

We keep contact-form submissions as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and keep a record of the engagement. Email us at brett@generalresistance.com at any time to ask what we have on file or to have it deleted.

Our products and SMS programs

General Resistance, LLC designs, builds, and operates its own connected-hardware products, including LoadoutGuard and ChickenScale. Each product has its own privacy policy, and where it sends text messages, its own SMS program terms, published on that product's own site — not here:

generalresistance.com itself does not send text messages or collect phone numbers for any SMS program.
